Hyper And Endometriosis
In the late 80's I was on Danazol for 8 months for treatment of endometriosis. In 1992, I took 6 shots of Lupron Depot for the same problem.
I searched Lupron Depot and Hyperthyroid and came upon a board with posters who had all sorts of problems from the Lupron, including making them hyperthyroid.
Have any of you had endometriosis and taken either of the above medications and found out later that you were Hyper??

I took lupron for three months back in the '80s for endometriosis. I don't remember any side effects.

I was really glad I did it, in my case it helped calm my endom. down.

Were you hyper before you took the Lupron, or did you discover it later...And if so, how much later?

I was on Danazol for only a month in 1987, didn't keep me from having my period so I went off and got pregnant. About 4 years later I was given the nasal spray (can't remember the name) and use it for 6 months. Never thought about it before this, but it seems my problems did start shortly after this. Was not diagnosed "Hypo" till 5 years ago, but the Doc's loved to give me prozac!!!
