| Endometriosis Question
Hello.
I've recently been diagnosed with endometriosis after struggling with pain for years. My gyno immediately suggested that I go on birth control and this would help considerably. I expressed my concerns with this and she ran some blood tests before putting me on. As a result, I was also diagnosed with Factor V Leiden - a serious genetic blood disorder. She was told that putting me on birth control would kill me. On top of that, I'm now a high risk patient for surgery. She told me that the pain would continue to get worse and worse and that a laproscopy every once in a while would be the only treatment to go in and get rid of the tissue. My new found blood disorder makes me not such a good candidate for that. The pain is nearly unbearable when I am ovulating and the first couple of days into my period and I was wondering if anyone out there had a similar problem. The gynocologist gave me Toridol for the pain but that's all she can really do about it. I'm also trying the antioxidant Pycnogenol which I heard was supposed to help. I'm open to any suggestions!
Thanks to all who read this!
