My problem lately has been low pelvic pain, back pain, and diarrhea where I really must run to get to bathroom. My family has a history of women having problems with menses and having children, etc. The problems we have are heavy bleeding and extremely painful cramps that require prescription medications to manage. Some women in my family, like myself, frequently get abnormal cells on our pap smears. I do not get a period right now because I am on birth control suppression with the NuvaRing. I also have nausea. I can't bear the pain and nausea, and especially the diarrhea. I can barely eat anything. I have had a couple of sonograms, but nothing but a tiny fibroid showed up. What is happening to me? Also, I always have the worst back pain when I get the diarrhea. Please, someone give me some ideas.

Edit: I have had a traditional ultrasound and a vaginal one.
