I am considing getting the surgery done, but have a
few fears and questions. I've only had a cateter one
time when I was 11 and it was the most painfull thing
I had experienced. Do they put the cateter in before
they knock you out or after? If the endometriosis is
small will they not burn it out? The 2 Hormone pills
I've tried only make it worse. Took the Depo shot
and have had my period for 2 months. So Hormone
therapy is out for me. Thanks for any advice.
I just underwent a pelvic laparoscopic exam (Dec 17th) They did not insert a catheter as my operation only lasted 45 minutes to an hour. I ended not needing and "burning" and my recovery has been relatively easy.. besides feeling sleepy, and watching my two incisions.. Take it easy!
