 Advice on BC pills for endo
Hello,
I am posting to get info for my daughter. She is 32yrs old and has for most of her llife had to deal I feel with Endo...she started her periods at 9yrs old. and was put on BC pills for horrible cramps. She had relief for many years...taking the pill Tri-leven...we moved to Florida about 8 yrs ago and the new gyn dr. suggested a change to YAZ...which she tried for about six months..however, it increased her BP and she decided to come off of it. Which is now a blessing since all the issues that this drug caused many people. For about a year she was pain and period free-that is right...no periods. But the pain crept back along with her cycle and she has been on Ortho-tricylen, and the last was Loestrin 24, she has pain on a daily basis...back pain, vag pain, leg pain. She is taking over 800mg of Motrin a day. The GYN who put her on the last two has said the treatment for endo and pcos is the same...just trying to find the right pill....but while I understand this. Has anyone here had success with any BC pill? My daughter has a family history of endo- as I had a total hyster at 3 6 for stage 3 endo...her aunt, my sister had endo. too and a partial hyster.... any advice would be appreciated. Right now, the GYN has suggested a pill---enpressee 28?? Anyone taken this one? He told her to give it 3 months and if still in pain daily..call and will try another...I hate to see her in pain daily so suggestions are welcome. Thanks for listening.
