Endo and cyst: pls help!
Hi Everyone,

Hope whoever reads my post is well or feeling at least ok.

I need some advice please to help my situation.

I have had endometriosis for 4 years and things have been ok. Not much pain, except 12 months ago I had a corpus luteal cyst (which is a "normal" cyst) and decided to have it removed. The doctor also cleaned up some endo. My problem is that I had to have surgery again 3 weeks ago for another corpus luteal cyst (my choice to do so) and also the doctor noticed my endo had increased. He wants to try giving me an injection of Provera or 5mg Provera tablets for a few months which will help the endo or I could take a contraceptive pill called Qlaira which is new and half "natural". I am not keen on taking either as I know they have side effects. Has anyone had same problem and used either of these? Please help, as I am seeing my doctor again soon and I need to tell him if I will try any of these or not.Please help! Thanks

I tried the provera shot and felt really bad on it, I was bleeding very bad and had a lot of back and ovary pain, plus other side effects, but my colleague who doesn't have endo feels great on it. Who knows, everybody reacts differently. I stopped after the first shot, I couldn't take it anymore. I think that u should try the pills first, since you can stop those anytime if you don't feel good.
Please let us know how are you feeling and if they worked for you.
