| Tested for endo!
I recently just went to a gynecologist for the first time. I've been experiencing painful menstrual cramps since I stated menstruation. I am now a 32 year old female. I finally decided to get checked for endometriois. The doctor did a pap smear on me. Last week called to let me know that I have a yeast infection. Weird thing is I have no symptoms of a yeast infection down there, no itching, no burning, no redness or swelling. I have however suffered miserable life debilitating anxiety attacks for about 6 years now. They started in the middle of the night out of the blue and my life hasn't been the same since. It was really bad in the beginning the attacks, accompanied by shaking and trembling even in my sleep. My last pap smear was in 2006 the year before I got sick. I am seeing a psychiatrist and was put on many anti anxiety medications, which help a little bit. I would just love my life back and to be panic free. Could this pap smear which found yeast be an indication to something more? I might also add I was also diagnosed with hashimotos thyroid disorder last year as well. I am currently taking medication for that. I do have a follow up with my gyno in about a weeks time.
