| Wife with Non epileptic seizures Please help
I'm new here, looking for some advice on how to help and be there for my wife. Here we go,
We've been together for about 6 years and she has started on this wave of seizures about 2 months ago, some times Grand Mal sometimes just spacing out. She had them as a very young kid but nothing since then. She is currently waiting to see a neurologist but is on a anti seizure med that I can't recall the name of. She is having VERY extreme anger outbursts and mood swings, for instance, this morning I asked if she was okay because she seemed a little "off", she proceeded to yell and scream just full of anger towards me and hasnt spoke to me since.
This has happened out of the blue more times than I can remember since she stated having seizures again. First off, is this normal? What can I do to be there for her?
I feel like she doesn't even notice she's being this way, so how can you help a person you love if they don't realize what's goin on? The closer i try to be to her the further she pushes me away and it's starting to wear on me.
I've been reading up and scanning thread boards trying to learn how to best handle this sickness and help her as much as I can, I'm new to all this and would truly appreciate any help.
