is this an absent siezure? - Epilepsy Message Board

i can be standing or sitting and i will feel like i am in a trance. no blinking, no movement just blank.. and then i will feel like forever has passed by, but only a few seconds have. i get no head ache or anything. i am just wondering if i am having more than one type of seizure. i have a month til i get to my doctor so any info would help?

My experiences with absent seizures is that I don't realize that I'm having them. The only way that I know it is if someone is in the room with me. Otherwise, when I "come out of it", unless there is considerable time that has passed, I don't know about it. But I've had enough people witness my zoning that I just except it.
