I was just diagnosedon the 30th of jan, I have sensory siezures(where my neck gets warm then aches then my face is numb for a couple minutes, and my hand tingles) this is on my right side, also have angioma on left side of brain and a lesion at the sensory site. Did you know that if you have angiomas, they can cause seizures. Mine is to deep in the brain to operate on. The neuro put me on LAMICTAL anyone out there on this medicine. ang

i take lamictal for my seizures. it seems to have helped control most of them yet i will still have them.

Welcome to the board. Sorry, that you need it though. I'm intrigued by what you say. I have complex partial seizures but I have had a lot of tingling and wierd things they thought may have been aura from migraine. I don't know. I have a few white spots in my brain...but not M.S. maybe from stroke. (though I'm only 38 and was 36 when the tingling started.) What is the angiomas that you spoke of? I am trying to learn as much as I can about all of this. I don't know much yet. Crystal

***I am also new to seizure world, the result of a near-fatal motorcycle accident. I have had only 2 mass seizure in over 5 yrs. But I have been getting alot of absence-types. 500mg. Depakote 3 times a day keeps my seizures controlled very well. Was in later 30`s now early 40`s w/7 yr. old boy who has calmed me & is on his private school honor roll the last 2 report cards at a college prep ect. brag~chuckle. So in a weird way the wreak was a blessing as we recieved a fair(ish) out of court settlement. To see a picture go to Regional Center of Epilepsy at Harborview then go to member personal pages. It is of myself taken after the wreak, my lovely wife % son. Ignore my stupid shirt it was a mistake. I never go aroud w/it worn that way.
