hi everyone,

just got the bad news today. his old neuro here in erie refuses to see gage even if we are willing to pay cash for the visits. i am so mad i could scream. her reason for it is gageis to complex of a case that she doesnt want to see him. the thing i dont understand is that if all the other testing except for the VEEG came back normal and he doesnt have any more outward signs of the siezures than why on earth is he a complex case. unless there is something going on that she didnt tell me, i figured he was a mild case. even when the neuro we saw in pittsburgh told us if we have no other problems we dont need to come back.

they said that our only other option is we HAVE to go to pittsburgh. no one else around here that is a pediatric neuro or epi. is there anything i could do. i feel like going down and just picketing her office thats how upset i am right now. gage has an appointment with his pediatrician thursday and i will be able to get more answers then. is this something that i could deal with strictly with his ped. its not the fact of its a 2 hour drive it was the way the neuro was or should have said wasnt with us when we went back for the followup that got to me. the hospital was wonderful, but i shouldnt have to feel like i was just an inconvience in her busy schedule to not be told anything. oh well maybe i will know more thursday. thakns for the vent and any help with what i can do now would be wonderful.
