| Trileptal/Dilantin
Hi, I am new to this board and have a question for the experienced folks who seem to have been around this board for a while. thanks for any information you can offer.
Has many people switched from Dilantin to Trileptal and overlapped the medications? I am doing that right now and I feel drunk at times. Does this go away over time after the Doc takes me off Dilantin or is it a side effect of Trileptal?
Also, and this was prior to the switch and still today, I have begun to suffer from anxiety attacks and get in these depressed states at times. My doctor put me on Xanax and is sending me to a counselor. Sometimes I seem to be able to understand why I feel down at times but then others it's hard to explain. Anyone else make sense of that or is it me alone that experiences those moods?
