Lennox Gastaut Syndrome????

I am normally posting on the autism board, but my son was dianosed with epilepsy three months ago. He has not responded to the meds, he is still having seizures. Sometimes his head will drop, or he will fall forward. It only lasts about 10 seconds and afterwards he's pretty confused. Before the siezures he gets the "aura"...he is really confused and doesn't understand what we say to him.

He has had really bad behaviors since starting the meds also. He was on depakote first but then they switched him to topamax. He has lost language, throws bad temper tantrums, and has gotten aggressive towards me.

Could he have Lennox Gastaut Syndrome since he hasn't responded to medicine? He had a abnormal eeg when he was three but the doctor didn't put him on anything. We recently got another eeg done and it was highly abnormal & they put him on meds....things haven't got any better yet though...only worse...
