Hi all xx ive noticed this past week or so my little girl has started making a strange whimpering noise almost like a puppy cry before she had the third seizure she never done this before im wondering if it has caused some damage? At first l thought it might be a nervous 'thing' with everything thats happened but it happens whilst she is eating too and sometimes whilst she is speaking. I intend to make an appointment for the doc tommorow after her sleep deprivation test in the morning and her MRI scan is thursday morning does anyone know what could be causing this? Cheers

Best wishes for that MRI. The wimpering might just be from air being pushed from her during the seizure. They do tend to change some from time to time. I would try not to be too worried over this new thng. Make sure the neuro knows that something new happened, though.

Hi Kayak

well she done brilliantly on both tests sat/lay still so they were over quickly l was really nervous aboutt he mri but she sailed through l was so proud

were off to see the doc this afternoon about the 'whimpering noise' so l should know more then the school care plan went great too l picked up loads of leaflets from the hospital and have been reading them over and over again. Just a shortie note to let you know how things are take care and thanks again xx niecsey

Hi seen doc she wernt too worried about the 'noise' as l told her she hadnt done it all that day (like kids do lol) but if it started again and got worse or she started getting confused etc l was to contact her straight away. This is so scary lm stressed to heck esp at nights worrying

a mothers job eh?........... well nothing else to report (thankfully) but l will keep in touch hope everyone else is good take care have a nice weekend xxx niecsey
