Changing Meds from Dilantin to Lamictal & side effects - Epilepsy Message Board

Hi

I am starting to change from Dilantin to Lamictal & I am having a few side effects & I was wondering if they are normal in this circumstance .
The main is a thing that is limiting is an on / off naseaus feeling & I wondered if it may go away as my body gets used to the Lamictal or gets the Dilantin gets out of my system .
I also wondered if the Dilantin & Lamictal were clashing .

Could someone please let me know - the naseas feeling is very limiting .

My son,Tripp, was not on Dilantin but he did take Lamictal and it DID make him sick...he could not take it.
