I am new to this board and am also a member of the [removed].
I am looking for a new sight to talk to other parents of severely disabled children/adults.
My Dd is 19 and has a sz disorder along with many other medical disorders.
She is non-ambulitory and non-verbal, has both a g and a J tube for feeding and is on the keto diet.

If this is not the appropriate place to be please let me know and also can anyone tell me how to start a new catgory for parents of severely disabled children?

Hi- welcome- I know if there's anyone who can help with seizure questions, this is a friendly place. I'm sort of new, too (sort of- have a big mouth though, so post fairly often). What kind of seizures does your daughter have?

If you share published information quote WHO and WHERE it was published by so as not to be in violation.

My case is TBI (left hemisphear, astrocytoma, benign tumor, juvinal age) that caused my seizures. Primary cause is Neurofibromatosis.

Hi and welcome! I have a son,Tripp,that is mentally delayed. He is 26 and has seizures. Mostly simple everyday and about 3 or 4 times a year has had a grandmal. He has been on SO many meds...now on Tegretol xr and Keppra.....somewhat better....he has gone a couple of days with an simple...that I have seen. IF I am not looking at him 24 hours a day I would miss them....They are ( head turns left for less than 10 seconds) and then he will be fine and go about doing what he was doing.
Tripp does talk some and We can understand him and if anyone is around him long enought they can too. Infact, last Sunday in Sunday school(I keep him in my class) well, someone knocked on the door and Tripp said "Come in" I was pleased they understood him.
He goes to a center for disable adults each day and loves it there. He is truly a blessing to our family!
As I said he is 26 but at 5'1" and 128 pounds size 16 clothes he looks much younger!
