Epilepsy is covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act, and you may be eligible for Social Security Disability (SSD) benefits. Contact an attorney or law firm that specializes in social security disability claims(maybe your parents can help you locate the right help on this). Knowledgable legal help is essential to get thru the bureaucratic maze of applying for SSD. This is not an easy thing to do but well worth the effort. Typically you don't have to pay the attorney up front, as they take their pay from the initial SSD payment.
