I am on Kepra now since October and am weening off the other meds. I only have pettite mal seizures and only around that time of the month. I use to have grand mal seizures before the kepra. Things seem to be getting better but I still have them. I got married a year ago and just turned 29. I would like to drive and do stuff with my 8 and 9 year old before they start chaufering their mommie around. If anyone can give me some info.

hello,
what meds are you being weaned off of? I know whenever I have gone through med changes it was a dificult time and I had to use caution when it came to driving.

Please do be careful. I have complex and simple partial seizures, and have had a few at the wheel. I don't drive anymore, but it was my own decision. I just hope you will be safe.

Hi Coconut,
I will be weening off of topamax and maybe dilantin. I'm going to be scared though to stop taking dilantin. I've been taking it for 12 years. That's been a long time. maybe it's not doing nothing maybe it's just a pill that's not doing nothing for me any more. So maybe it'll be a good thing too just take Keppra. Thanks for thanking about it. Also thanks for the reply. I hope things will start looking up for us all. ARH
