My dad has been having little seizures once a day for 1 year he's been on all kinds of medications nothing seems to work, I been looking into herbs and vitamins, has anyone been there and what kind of response are you getting

I use to have grand mal seizures when they first started (17) now I'm (29)and have petitte mal seizures sometimes that time of the month. Sometimes I won't even have any seizures at all. I love when that happens!I love not even getting anyseizures at all. I'm sure we all LOVE that! I have been on so much med. too I was ready to try surgery but the nureo. didn't recommend it for me and now I'm once again on another pill called Keppra and I believe that is what made me get to these small and a few time around month seizures. I also believe that stress can put yourself towards having seisures. I know it does to me bad. So I have to relax and make sure I don't put too much on myself because I know what will happen. ARH

Sorry to hear about the seizures your Dad is having. I've been having them for many years, and with many med combinations I have not had the best seizure control.
You mention vitamins that you hope might help, and I have heard reports that B-Complex vitamins that have been beneficial for many people with E. Some people take vitamin E also.
I personally take a multivitamin suppliment, especially since the seizure meds rob us of so many nutrients. Best wishes to your Dad.
