Question Reactions to Trileptal
I have been taking medication to control epelepsy for 19 years. My nuerologist recently changed my meds to Trileptal and dilantin. This summer I am tanning at a rapid pace, I have burn marks in a few areas on my face. I can be outside for 30min. and have lines from the clothing I have on. Has anyone else had this problem with this medication?

Welcome to healthboards, If you find out any info on this med please post it.. It sounds like it could be kinda dangerous to skin ie if not carefull causing skin cancer. Be carefull hon, when tanning. I'll do a little research to see what I find on it. It may just be the way you personally react to the med.. then again your chemistry could be changing however, we will find out again welcome
