I'd like to know if anyone knows the effect a grand mal seizure has on an unborn child? Please help.

Are you pregnant now? I only ask because I am pregnant (6 months). Most of the concern for seizures during pregnancy when discussed with me has always been physical concerning the baby (i.e. if mom has grand mal seizure, the fall and so on could cause injury to the baby). No one has ever mentioned to me any deeper or further damage possibilities. Although, it does make me think now.....hmmmmmmm......
