Just wondering if anyone has been using any type of equipment at home for monitoring night seizures. I wake up with some minor signs of seizure activity, but unless I've got a bitten tongue or wake up in the closet, Im often unsure if anything actually happened.

I sometimes have the same feeling. Like yesterday, I woke up with my right arm still shaking and I think i had one while i was asleep but i wasnt sure. The only way i know of is to have an EEG hooked up to u the whole time. but i bet that would get uncomfortable.

Hi! We did this because our daughter has seizures and all but one have happened while she was sleeping. What we do is of course have the baby monitor on at all times as she is only 19 months old. But also you can get survelliance cameras that hook up to you video camera and you can record yourself sleeping. Check at radio shack, etc. Just an idea. Hope things are well!

I had to have one of those 24-hour EEG's last summer.. they attatched all the wires to my head, and then I had to carry the box thingy that recorded everything around with me for 24 hours. it was REALLY annoying! lol.
especially since they didn't find anything abnormal... even though I woke up a few times during the night and felt like I had a minor seizure... weird...
