Post depakote questions???
just a few days ago I was switched from dylantin to depakote due to an allergic reaction on dylantin. I was off of dylantin for over a week before i started depakote.

Within just a few days of using it i can tell a difference. I have photosensative seizures and normally when my wife drives me to work in the morning I have to keep my eyes closed because of the sunlight coming through the trees. Only after a few days that trip to work doesnt bother me at all and i dont have to keep my eyes closed.

Is this normal for it to act so quickly?

well, i guess i spoke too soon. The trip to work doesnt seem to bother me but on thursday night I was laying in bed watching tv and it went to a bright strobe effect that caused a seizure. I think it was a commercail that was designed to grab your attention(it got mine. lol).

I really hate E. I cant drive, watch TV, or play computer games anymore!

For people with photosensative seizures, is watching TV just almost out of the question? There are a lot of strobe effects on TV.
