I don't know how far you are to the Cleveland clinic, but it is a good place to start. I say that because patients who have been treted there have good things to say about their Comprehensive Eplepsy Program. Sounds like that is what you need most of all. I,too, saw many general neuros over a lot of years, and I consider that a real waste. There is a thread on here zi think called How to find A Doc. It is the website to the cleveland Clinic and has great advice on ow to find a good doc and facility. The distance to my Epileptologist, Epilepsy Specialist, was 160 miles one way. It was worth it to me! You definitely wthut doubt need a Comprehensive Epilepsy Program and an Epilepsy Specialist/Epileptologist to treat you. That is a neurologist who has done a Fellowship in Epilepsy or in Neurophysiology and who treats Nothing but epilepsy patients. No other neuro illnesses! Start there. I can't stress that enough!
By the way, I looked for that thread and didn't find it here. Either it was not posted on this site or was removed because it had the link in it. It is posted on other Epilepsy Message boards, however. You also can do a Google search for the Cleveland Clinic as well. Tattoo
