 Information request re: social security
Does anyone have any experience getting Social Security Disability Insurance for epilepsy? I have complex partial seizures which began after a non penetrating bullet wound to my head during the Viet Nam war. I have been rated disabled by the VA for years but have not contacted Social Security as long as I could work.
Now, my seizures are much more frequent in spite of increased medication. Also,my memory, coordination and overall function, including IQ are greatly diminished.
I can't even keep a job because of the seizures. Any suggestions?
My kids say I should retire but I haven't reached retirement age.
