Post Finding a doctor or Epi Center. Some guidelines.

I believe that many people do not know that the field of Epileptology even exists. When looking for a new doctor or Epilepsy Center it is good to be knowledgable. These are websites I found very educational and informative. Tattoo

Thanks for the info!!!! Did I read right that you have to have a referral?

Tattoo, by any chance did you happen to read my other post? I could really use your input. I've read many of your posts and would really appreciate hearing what you think! Sorry for being selfish, but I really need help!

Is this the post you mean? I noticed one of the links does not work anymore. Phoebe

Re: Finding a doctor or Epi Center. Some guidelines.

Just wanted to bump this up since it has some important Guidelines for finding a Epileptologist. I am not sure if the links work now or not, but the Guidelines info is still on the Cleveland clinic website the last time I looked. It is so very important to find the right doc who is not only properly trained in Epilepsy but also is a patient oriented doc. Some are more research oriented, so they are not all the same, as my own experience taught me. I went to both kinds. Phoebe
