Question abnominal pain

Hi everyone,
I noticed on a few of the recent posts that some of you have experienced right sided abdominal pain. I also have had this for 5 years and no- one seems to know why. I have had scans, operations to investigate, bloodwork done yet I remain none the wiser.
Has anyone been given a reason for this , other than IBS( I know I haen't got that and have already been on meds for it anyway).

Thanking you in advance.
Lulabell

I have a friend who had a similar complaint for a long time. She too had many tests done to determine the cause. In her case, they thought she possibly had an ulcer and also thought possible gall bladder trouble. Eventually, after many tests and trips to the doc, they did allergy testing and found that she had Latex Allergy. Her occupation had placed her in contact with Latex products for many years, and she became allergic. Believe it or not, she also has epilepsy. If there is any connection at all, I haven't the sightest.Tattoo

hi lulabell,
I have had a dull ache in my right side, just below my belly button.I have had this on and off for a few years.I can't blame the medication because I had It before I started lamictal.I have been to the doc's loads of times and been examined. They say It coud be irritable bowel, but I also have a worn spine so they think It's probably a nerve problem.I still worry though.Sorry It Isn't much help to you.

Hey someone else from England!

Thank for your reply. I was also treated for IBS for 2 yrs before they would believe that I didn't have. I have also had an investigative operation, but they didn't find anything. I just wondered if it was at all related to the Epilepsy.
Thanks again.

Lulabell
