I'm having similar problems with my job. I've lost 8 jobs in the past 17 months due to seizures and my brain injury.

I had to take a medical leave afer having a seizure on the job in October. i hurt my arm when I fell. my meds were changed the end of that week and I went toxic from the new drug. I spent a week in the hospital and the last 9 weeks out of work due to seizures and dilantin level problems...

my doctor finally released me to go back to work with one restriction- I can't work alone. My employer is refusing to accomodate that. =(

I do housekeeping in a hospital (I used to be a nurses aid til they degraded me cuz of the seizures- can't work with patients). My doc didn't want to be be alone in areas like the OR/ day surgery, office areas and therepy areas since they are closed at night. (I work 2nd shift.) most the time I work in the Lab ER and radiology so I'm not alone...

but my employer is refusing to let me work.

I've called Voc rehab (they had already been working with me) and disability rights. My restriction falls under 'reasonable accommodation' under ADA...

any thooughts?
