my 32month old son has myoclonic astatic epilepsy
I was wondering if there is anyone here who knows of this epilepsy- myoclonic astatic, i am finding it difficult to find any info on it.My son was diagnosed with it in dec 2001 after he suffered over 300 drop attacks in 3 days,he also suffers with a mixture of other seizures. He also has severe learning difficulties, autism , developmental delay and has some brain damage. He currently takes clonazapam ,epilim ,lamotragine and more recently topamax for the epilepsy and his seizures have decreased over the last two weeks. I would love to hear from somebody who knows about this epilepsy as we havent been given much info. thanks for reading this.
