Question What are they looking for?
Hi-

I am just starting this process of "getting my meds regulated." I have only had the one GM seizure, but been having auras all my life. Through this process, what is the doctor going to be looking for? He will do blood tests, but what else (excluding another seizure) will tell him that I am or am not regulated?

No more seizures is the Big clue for the doctor. He will also look at how you feel on meds. IF you have a strong reaction to the med, he may want to adjust or change the med. So keep in touch with the doctor about any seizures, but also any side effects you have from the meds. Read the package insert or ask your pharmacy for one....Good luck with the med. Hope you lose the auras and have no more GMs.
