they do they, they really do. lets face the truth. Today I was pouting that I 31 yrs old cant drive. - and I shouldnt drive, but its still maddening. It takes so much away from you, espicially your independance. I would love just to go get coffee- if I felt like it, ect. and then today my dad drives me to take my daughter to a Dr. appt, and I have a tonic clonic seizure there, end of in emergency. well I sure wasnt in a bad mood then, the pain of a seizure afterwards dont get talked about much, and it should. gosh lights hurt my head, the headaches, the confusion, too many iv's that we have liked, Yes i have been humble, my gosh I just found out that another friend has colon cancer, and i have been positive, but this illeness sucks!!!

As hard as I try to maintain a positive attitude, you are so right! I am sorry to hear about your lousy day, but hope your weekend gets better.

As I sit here, typing you this response, I am doing it with compression gloves on both of my severely burned hands. This past August, I had a seizure and stuck both hands under a hot water faucet where they had raised the hot water temperature to 165 degrees. Had to have skin graft surgery on both hands.

Yes, you are absolutely right. You know what's (not) funny, even when your loved ones share a cry with you, they really don't have a clue. I wish I was wherever you are right now so we could cry together.

I am sorry Kip, I really am, for the extra pain u have had to suffer from having seizures. (())) Knock on wood a thousand times, I have been very lucky that I havent hurt myself from a grandmal seizure, I have had hit my head a good many times from not having protection when i fall, but not hurting myself. I am in a better mood today, Its easier to deal when your not so down, but i think the no driving part is the hardest for me to have to accecpt. - this illenss has gone on for 3 months now,

Violarose,

I am happy to hear that you are doing better today, so am I. I have been listening to many of you talk about the driving restriction, and even though I can still drive, my license is currently under review.

The loss of driving privledge I can visualize as a severe blow both physically and psychologically. Because of my lifetime (45 years) living with E, I have never even tasted a beer. It pains me to think of all those drunk drivers out there while we can't even drive ourselves to work.
