Hunger and other things - Epilepsy Message Board

Ok, this may seem weird, but I have an odd question: I was dx'd with seizures about 15 years ago. For the last year and 1/2, I have been having "episodes" of extreme hunger (I mean really extreme) and greatly increased sex drive. Does anyone know if this is releted to "E" ? Please share any info you may have.

Hi,
I was diagnosed with partial complex seizures in Jan. Since then, my appetite has increased some and oh my i have gained about 15 lbs. Im wondering myself if its the seizures or the meds or the depression that caused this...i have much less energy and dont excercise (excpet running after my 4 small kids) so that could also be a factor. As for the sex drive, well mine has decreased not increased. I wish it increased lol. Let me know what you find out.

Guys what anti szr drugs are you on????? Epilim increased my appitite and weight a great deal - Not sure about the sex drive though Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm maybe Keppra will do that
