sudden change & confussion anyone? - Epilepsy Message Board

I have had petit mal since early childhood.Auras & seizure episodes have been the same 4 ever. But a few days ago, had this major aura, felt like seizure was going to be instant. Happened again the next day. Was abel 2 ask my husband what happened. Found out I had no movement what so ever,which is very strange. And for days after have felt very confused. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Appreciate response. Thanx.

Boy does that sound familiar! I have those About once, twice a month. Mine feel like I'm trapped in my body, paralyzed feeling. I know someting is wrong, but am unable to say anything. Fortunately my hubby knows "that look" and can get my Valium and Relpax down me of I'm able to take them before the seiz. comes or the migraine sets in big time. My seiz. and migraines are linked. I have a migraine before a petit mal and after a gran mal.
