the girls are going to the pumpkin patch today and I volunteered to go. The teachers are concerned I might have an episode, so they wanted to make sure that my friend who lives with me is also going. She also has a daughter in the same grade level(kinder) as my girls. I know that they are concerned that it will be a exhausting trip for me, but then i feel insulted -well thats probaly the wrong word, but maybe sad for myself that i could understand there concern. i wish i didnt have this. but I know i am going to do terrific today, and have lots of fun!!!

Go to the pumpkin patch and have a great time. They should be greatful that you are volunteering. Good Luck and have fun.

I was in the same situation about two weeks ago. I did my first trip with my daughter (first grade). I showed her class how to make butter. there were groups of seven kids at a time (total of eight groups) and I had each group by myself for 25 minutes. I did wonderful! It had to of been one of the longest days of my life, but I did it and I don't think I quit grinning until my head hit the pillow that night.

I hope everything goes wonderful for you! Its amazing, all the other parents were muttering about this child acting up or the weather (it rained on and off), I wanted to say, be happy you can be here, enjoy every minute of it!!!

I haven't had your experience but I do know that I would be very hurt and mad at the same time. How are you feeling now (after your trip)?? Did they treat you any different??

I hope you had a grand time!! I hope you showed them that we (people with "E") are no different then they are!! I am praying for you and for them. I am praying that you don't have seizures and have a great time and I am praying that they (the school) opens their hearts and eyes and see that you are no different and "E" isn't a threat to them.

it was alot of fun, i had a blast. I was in charge of my 2 girls- I have twins, and then another little boy- he is a cutie. boy my legs arent used to all that walking but i feel great, . oh and no seizures too. I am happy. I love doing kids stuff. I volunteer at the girls school on tuesday. its always the day I look forward to the most of the week//
