Auras after resection-Is it a failure?
Does anyone have any experience with having the resection and then still having auras afterwards? I'm really worried this was all for nothing. The surgeon said I may have seizures while the brain was still swollen but its been 2 weeks since my resection. I pray these auras go away- the complex partial seizures HAVE gone away so far. If you know anyone who had auras after a resection I'd love to know if they went away. Thanks

thank you so much for that quick reply-. That makes me feel a lot better. I cant sleep for worrying about it. I will try to chill out about it for 2 - 3 months. Thank You

My surgeon told me to excpecy auras even though I never has auras with CPs before surgery. Get your sleep, eat right, take your meds and keep your head up. Good luck.
