| Re: Homoepathy and Seizure diets
There is one that is known to work for juvenile seizures. I think it was an X dilution... However I would not go that way personally as much as I trust it for other issues such as muscle strains, puncture wounds, animal bites, nerve pains, bone bruises, etc.... Those are the common issues I use different remedies (At outdoor gigs I have a pocketfull of 6 or so).
When it comes to seizures Stay with medications.
As for what homeopathy is, basicly you take a root substance (meaning the raw substance) and dilute it, binding it with a sugar and lactose body to form the tablets. It is not the content of the MT (mother tincture=full strength) that gives it the strength, but the "vibrations" from the dilution process. So basicly the more diluted the stronger it is.
A good way to think is
X is for children (in most cases)
C's tend to be for adults
M's are for SEVERE injuries (rarely used)
MM's (very hard to find, and a lot of stores will NOT sell them to you) are for MAJOR conditions. You really need to know what you are doing.
I'd use one 30x for sleep; but otherwise I took 12c or 30c for most; I think I had two in 6c I rarely used.
Good beginner books if you want to start reading on it: Boericke and Clarke (two different authors) Materia Medica's are pretty easy to understand. If you wish to progress farther into Homeopathy after those first two, then buy Kent's Repertory (THICK). Kent's is not easy to understand for a beginner, so thats why I suggest they stay away from it at first. Obviously I have all of those, PLUS another set. However the first two are great for starters if you want to get into homeopathy, and buy the remedies as you need them.
Hope that helps explain it a little bit...
