Pheno was approved in 1912 for treatment of seizures. I didn't catch the story but somethings amiss. I'll see if they have it online the networks page.

I read the article online, it did not mention the medication by name. I'm gathering the point was herbals and non FDA controlled substances. Phenobarbital IS controlled and enforced by the FDA, not over the counter. The OTC's, based on the article, were the point of attack.
