Re: Leg pain with keppra

I was only on Keppra a short time (2 months) and complained to my doctor of the pain in my legs. He looked at me strange.

I am now off of that medication as of Sunday and my legs are a little bit better.

Not sure if this helps.

Hi there thanks there was talking to my neuro this morning she said might just be people have had leg problems with this med. I am going to get checked out tomorrow for this. Problem here is the meds help the seizures out. But of course something has to go the wrong way here. I will let you know what happens tomorrow thanks again limeridge

Post Re: Leg pain with keppra

hi limeridge,

i have been taking keppra for several years, and found that i was having leg pain which seemed like cramps during the night. i thought i was having night seizures, but when undergoing observation at the clinic - i had the cramps/pains, but no seizures were occurring. i reduced the dose from 3000mg to 2000mg and noticed a slight improvement. i hope to lower the keppra dose further in the future.
