Need some suggestions for my daughter

My daughter recently had a seizure. She bit her bottom lip and the inside of her cheek pretty bad. Is there something she can put on them to help with the pain? We've tried Orajel and several other things but nothing is working. Her doctor is out of the office today so that doesn't help. Any ideas?

Re: Need some suggestions for my daughter

Don't ask me to explain I can't.

When my friend bites his cheek or tounge, he takes a sip of brand name soda. I have NO clue if it just washes out the mouth or if it does anything except get rid of the taste.

persoanlly I can't see any medical for the first, but thats what he does, and he bites his mouth almost nightly.

For bleeding gums what was the mix, (this goes back a long time) hot water (NOT too hot) salt solution on the wound. tastes horrible but helps. I remember that from the years with braces... Ask a DENTIST about that.

Re: Need some suggestions for my daughter

Thank you all for your help. I contacted her dentist and he gave her prescription for a mouth wash that he says will help with the pain and burning.
