Hey congrats!! what is the other name to this med? my surgeon just told me i could get pregnant if i wanted, and im taking Keppra and trileptal everyday and high doses too. I asked if it could affect the child, but he said it was no problem as long as I began taking Folic Acid at least a month in advance and i didnt have to get off the AEMs.. weird, Im still afraid to take the risk, but he said it wasnt a problem. R u taking folic acid? I guess it depends on the type of med/s cause i know other women that had four childre while on meds too, ask ur neuro and ob, but i dont think it's a problem to ur unborn.
