suggestions pediatric nuerologists - Epilepsy Message Board

Hello again. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a good pediatric nuerologist. I live in So. Nevada, close to Las Vegas. I have an appointment with a group in Las Vegas on Tuesday. I also have the option of taking him to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City. They can see him Monday.

It takes us about an hour to get to Vegas and about 5 hours to get to Salt Lake. Obviously we'd prefer to go to Vegas as it's much closer. However, we also want to very best for our son. Does anyone have any experience with any of the Vegas doctors or the doctors in Salt Lake? I would love to hear what you think.

You might call the childrens' hospital near where you want to go, and ask them for a referral.....you can also call Salt Lake, and ask them. Some are pediatricians specializing in neurology, some are neurologists who accpet (and are used to) pediatric patients.... worked with both, and didn't see much difference in the sort of orders they wrote, or how their patients did... from small babies, to teenagers.
