Another GrandMal seizure!

Tripp had another big one at 1 this morning. I wish I knew what he feels like before and after...he is not able to tell us as he is handicapped. So can someone tell me what he might be feeling...can he hear us taking to him? After the big moves were over he still had some shakes and almost sounding fearful. He can sure bounce back...he was up at 8 ready for breakfast and then we went to my grandaughers preschool for a grandparents day. He is fine...like nothing happened!
I am blaming it on him watching Power Rangers because last week he watched them and had a GMS at 2 am.

I am waiting on a call from the doctor to see if we can up his night depakote or his new med Lyrica...he is taking 75 mg of that twice daily. He is so much more active...twice he has gotten up before me and fixed his own breakfast. HA! He has not done this in years!!! Maybe that nasty Tegretol is almost out...he is down to a 100mg tab in the am.

Re: Another GrandMal seizure!

Hi,

Sorry to hear all the problems Tripp is having.I am also sorry
to tell you that when I am having a grandmal I cannot hear
anyone talking to me,I don't even know what I am doing,I just
know afterwards I am sooooo exhausted.I have to actually ask my
family what kind of seizure I just had, other than one time I chewed
my tongue up,but that does not always happen when I have mine,
I sometimes also just have atonic seizures(drop attack),and here lately
my complex partial are so complexed like I said I have to ask if someone
else is around what exactly did I do or how bad it was.So it is probably
the same way for him.My family has also told me that I sometimes I
have a look of fear on my face, but, when I come out of it I am not scared
or anything.Good-luck,Sherri
