Hi there I have been on keppra 3000mg for a good 2-3 years. Leg pain and body pain has been worse. I never use to have this at all. Yes I do walk a lot go tot he gym and keep busy. A lot of people even DR's don't understand they even said go on this board to see what others say with this situation. Please if you get leg pain and body pain tell me what you do. I have to also say I do a lot of yoga which has gotten rid of my epilepsy a lot. I have had brain surgery I still get the odd one but yoga has really helped in so many ways just thought I would let you people know that. Thanks again Limeridge

I have encountered "surges" of pain to fingers mainly in my case, and it will go away in less than 5-10 seconds. However it is intense pressure, often in the tip of my fingers. That is the only area I have had issues of body pain when on Keppra.

I am on Keppra also and get surges of pain in my pinky/ring fingers, like lightening shooting out! And now the knees have been killing me..

Hi there thanks for your replys. I did see my nero this week and yes she did say the keppra can do that. Finger tips for sure she said. Yes you get it then it's gone just like that. Now my legs she said in away but not to many get that from keppra. So we just have to see what happens from this point.

i have been on keppra for five years and for the first several years it did not really help with the seizures but i did not seem to have any bad side effects even at a dose of 3000mg per day.

when i began to have leg/knee pain usually during a nights sleep, i lowered the dose and everytime i did the pain improved after several weeks. keppra to me is only a poison and i am dropping that crap for good.
