Lamicatal side effects - Epilepsy Message Board

I started taking lamictal 2 weeks ago. My doctor started me at a low dose of 25mg twice per day. I've heard that rash is a common side effect. The only effect I've had is acne. For the first time in 20 years I have pimples on my face. The pharmacutical description doesn't list acne as a side effect so I guess it's not common. I'm just wondering if this is a long term effect or not.

Has anyone else had this side effect from Lamictal?

When I tried lamictal last year I had a rash outbreak. I also had bumps on my face that definitely weren't common to the rashes I had everywhere else?

I take lamictal, for about 3 years now. If I'm not mistaken if you get a rash you should contact your docotr immediately.
