hi i have a question about seizure meds i was on depakote xr 1000 mgs from dec till now i went to a new neuro dr and he told me to lower the depakote to just one a day which is 500 mgs of er then after one week stop the depakote and start taking tegretol he gave me 600 mgs but 200 mgs per pill im to take 200 in the am then a 200 in afternoon and last one at bedtime he said if i get dizzy cause he said this med has been known to cause dizziness so he said if it does to go down to 2 pills does anyone know anything about this med or is the deoakote better im still having small seizures on the depakote here and there and also does the tegretol have the mood stablelizer in it like depakote ??? just need some adive here and my neuro the new one that is says he thinks i have EP he wants me to have a sleep test done to find out where in the brain the seizures are but so far i have took all the tests but not this one and the other ones say normal but he said alot of times they go by the symtoms because its not allways eazy to to catch on the test .so any advice would help here ...
