how to numb a tongue
I had a grand mal seizure a couple days ago. I bit on my tonuge, it hurts like hell and I was wondering can I put something on my tonuge to numb my tonuge. I can't eat, talk, pretty much anything. I did the whole salt water thing. not really. it hurts more under neath my tounge is ther anything that can numb my tongue?

How about any of the dental products mainly used on teeth? They numb the nerves (wouldn't taste very good).

Ice on the tongue may numb it up slightly... may not last long.

Check with your pharmacist. See if they have any suggestions.

I know I used a "old fashion" method for numbing my molar when I needed a root canal in a few days and it worked so I could eat off it; didn't do anything to the tongue. Wouldn't recommend that method.
