Being this is second hand, it's hard to formulate a reply. I doubt she would be willing to wear a "soft helmet" for head protection if what you say is true. They have to be willing or it's not worth the effort.
If it's always on her right side it
could mean the seizures are occurring on the LEFT side of the brain (and not crossing over).
As long as she is seeing a neurologist out there (in SD most likely) thats the best you can do. Mason is about the same as getting to Minneapolis to the Neurology clinics there for distance (I had a friend that lives near Jackson MN
). I think even Omaha has a good Neurology clinic.
