My son has been on Keppra since Jan. of this year. Everything was going well until the first week of August. He had 2 seizures within a week of each other. Before this his seizures were months apart. The neuro. increased his Keppra after each incident. After the second one he said if it happens again he would do another EEG to see what was going on. We just had one done in June and it came back "good" no epileptic forms were seen.
My son is unable to express himself very well due to his disabilities. Last night around 10:30 PM (all of his seizures have been between 9:30 -10:30PM)
he came out saying his head itches. I asked if his hair itches or if it itches inside of his head. He said inside. I made him sit down with the lights out for about 5 minutes. During this time he kept rubbing his head like he had a headache. There was no seizure activity that I could see. He said he was going to bed after about 5 minutes. I tucked him in about 10:50 and he said that his head did not hurt anymore.
Since I'm relatively new to this, Im not sure if this is something that I should report to the neuro or not. What do you guys think?
