Autism and seizures

Hi. My 3 year old son has autism. About 2 weeks ago he had a seizure. Then this past Sunday he had another one. His pedi neuro is starting him on Zonogram 100mg. I'm so afraid about side effects. Does anyone here have a child on this med? I guess I'm afraid b/c he can't tell me if he feels funny or is dizzy or having a headache. Tonight will be his first dose.

Also does anyone here have Autism and epilepsy?

Thanks so much

Trena

Re: Autism and seizures

I'm pretty sure I have Asperger's, but I haven't been diagnosed.
And I have Epilepsy.
I know Asperger's is more high-functioning than regular autism, so I'm not sure if that helps you at all...
