Was that a seizure? - Epilepsy Message Board

Lastnight while sleeping I kinda woke to a feeling like my left leg, foot and left arm were cramping. I could feel my body shaking, not thrashing but just shaking. I told myself to get up, but I couldnt move. I tried to yell but my teeth felt like they was glued together, I tried to hit my husband but couldnt get my arm to move. then I guess I fell back to sleep, cause I woke this morning rembering it all, my legs and back were so sore. I was thinking that you dont have any memory of seizures, but I dont know.
I have been told that I was having seizures a year and half ago from my DR. cause my eyesight was jumping around,not the eyes moving, but to me everything in my sight was jumping around
They wanted to do an MRI, but I wouldnt since I was pregnant at the time, and only had a few sinsations like that after the pregnancy.
Im just not sure. Any thought? Maybe I was just dreaming

Could have been something as simple as leg and arm cramps, or myoclonic jerks, which many people experience, whether or not they have epilepsy. And you certainly feel sore the next day. However, that being said, if your doctor said that he/she suspects that you're having seizures, um, don't you think you should pursue this?

If he/she were really serious about this a medical history should have been taken and you should have at least had an EEG (which is safe to do while pregnant.)

If you are troubled by this I would definately find a neurologist and follow up!
